Required details/documents (*):
A) A power of attorney form (download form).
B) Details of the applicant/owner.
C) Application or publication number of the European patent application/patent.
D) Full copy of the specification with claims and, if applicable, drawings of the European patent application/patent as published or to be published ("Druckexemplar").
E) Copy of Form 2006 of the European Patent Office, if applicable and available.
F) Copy of the first sheet of "Document A" (for validation of a published European application) or "Document B1" (for validation of a published European patent), both of them printed by the European Patent Office. If these copies are not supplied to us, we may obtain them directly from the European Patent Office (1).


Remarks:

(1) If changes of ownership, of address or other relevant details are not reflected in the first sheet of "Document A" or "Document B1" printed by the European Patent Office, a copy of the communication of said Office, stating that such change(s) will be recorded at the European Patent Register, is to be filed at the Spanish Patent and Trade Mark Office (with the corresponding Spanish translation).

The necessary documents for obtaining final protection must be filed at the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office within a three-months term as of the date on which the mention of grant is published in the European Patent Bulletin.


(*) Minimum details/documents:

Receipt in good time, by fax or e-mail, of complete "Document B1" printed by the European Patent Office may make possible to meet the above three-months term.
